Each year we aim to organise at least one camp where members can attend and learn about the frog species local to the area we camp at. An ecologist or frog enthusiast will be in attendance from the QLD Frog Society to share their knowledge and passion for QLD’s frogs.
In December 2024 we organised our first frog camp in seven years. The camp was hosted by Bellthorpe Stays adjacent Bellthorpe National Park, located south-west of Maleny. Bookings were highly-sought after with a waiting list as well. All participants gave 5-star reviews and there were nearly two dozen frog species heard or seen over the weekend!
